About The Band
Formed in 2011 by Liam McGlashon, Ferguson Young has been a regular fixture on the Hamilton music scene ever since. Presently, they hold a residency at the legendary Corktown Irish Pub, situated at Ferguson and Young, the intersection after which the band is named.
Known as the “Fiddlekid” for his prowess at an early age, Liam has gone on to share the stage with such distinguished artists as John McDermott, Ashley MacIssac, The Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, Pierre Schryer, and many more!
Fellow accomplished musicians Jonny Goldie (guitar/vocals) and Brian Siegle (guitar/vocals) complete the trio, joining the band 3 years ago, and the lineup has remained the same ever since.

Band Members
Liam McGlashon – Fiddle
Liam is the founding member of the band and plays many instruments including the fiddle, guitar, banjo, mandolin, tin whistle, and bagpipes.
Jonny Goldie – Guitar & Vocals
Jonny specialized in the guitar, vocals, and harmonica. His fast down picking guitar licks and vocal harmonies really add to the overall energy of the band.
Brian Siegle – Bass & Vocals
Mike, a seasoned bassist, lays the foundation of the band while providing vocal harmonies to round out their sound. He plays the guitar and keyboard too!
